Payments

To validate your inscription and confirm your booking at Star Surf Camps, the total amount of the required services must be paid at least 1 month before your visit.

You can find all the bank details in the confirmation letter, which we will send you by e-mail once you fill in the form on our website.

The booking will be considered as valid when the total price has been transferred to our bank account, and you have received an e-mail with the confirmation of your booking details.

Conditions

The personal details of each participant are compulsory in the registration.
The participants' minimum age is 16 years old.
Star Surf Camps reserves the right to make modifications, but only if these modifications do not change the essential services or due to unexpected and uncontrollable situations.
Booking changes depend on availability and it involves a surcharge of €20, due to administrative reasons. You will receive a booking change confirmation once the surcharge is paid.
Images of your stay at Star Surf Camps may be used for publicity or promotional material.
We expect a personal level of contribution from participants within the Camp duties in France, for example: helping out the kitchen team with the preparation and cleaning up the meals (once a week); cleaning your tent after use and rinsing your surf equipment after use.
Customers must be physically fit and capable to swim. The client confirms that from a medical point of view, there is nothing that prevents him/her to exercise the sport of surfing or bodyboarding. We require that you alert us of any allergies or health conditions before booking.
The transfer service offered by Star Surf Camps in France will be carried out on Saturdays between 11:00 am and 16:00 pm (we might consider some exceptions, but always upon request and with our confirmation). The transfer service is subject to availability. We recommend you to ask for this service when you fill out the online form or as soon as possible. The transfer price will be paid in cash at the pick up and is a return fare.
Each customer is responsible for their own equipment during its use, and accepts the responsibility to replace it in case of loss or serious damage. The customer has to pay the loss or damaged equipment which automatically becomes property of the customer.
A €25 deposit in cash is required per person on the day of arrival to the Camp. This deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay providing all equipment is returned in its original condition and your accommodation is in the same clean condition as found upon your arrival.
The excursions and trips we offer are not included in the total Camp price. They depend on a minimum number of participants and availability.
Minors (under eighteen years old) have to obey and listen to the instructions of our team and to behave according to the laws established by the European Union. Deliberate misbehaviour and disobeying the established rules will result in a warning and contacting the parents or tutors. In case of a repetitive misbehaviour the result will be the exclusion of the camp. In consequence no money will be refunded and no responsibilities for further upcoming costs will be taken.
In order to accept any under 18 years old participants, Star Surf Camps must have a signed declaration (available upon request) from the parents or guardians of any student outlining our responsibilities. Star Surf Camps is only responsible for the participants during the surf and bodyboard courses.

Cancellations

The cancellation will be valid the day we receive it. Due to administrative reasons and expenses, we are unable to refund the total amount of the booking.

We will return you 75% of the total amount, when the cancellation is made one month or more before your arrival date.
We will return you 50% of the total amount, when the cancellation is made within two to four weeks of your arrival date.
Within less than two weeks before the start of the Surf Camp, we are unable to issue any refund.
We recommend you to contract your travel insurance and check their cancellation policy.

Responsibilities

Star Surf Camps does not accept any responsibility nor will issue refunds for the following circumstances.

When the client is responsible for the incorrect delivery of the services.
When the defective services are due to third parties or occur in an unpredictable manner.
When the services can not be provided, due to circumstances beyond the control of the company. These are unusual and unpredictable circumstances with unexpected consequences such as natural disasters or meteorological aspects etc.
When the incorrect delivery of the services is caused by happenings at Star Surf Camps, even tough all the diligences were taken, but still could neither be predicted nor prevented.
When happenings outside the camp, during the travel to and from the camp and outside of course hours, occur.
Clients have to listen to the instructions of our staff and to follow Star Surf Camps' regulations. In case of not doing so and behaving irresponsible the company will take the necessary measurements with prior warning, such as the exclusion of the camp or the courses.

Insurance

For medical assistance during your stay at Star Surf Camps each client ought to have:

Medical card and adequate holiday insurance.
Copy of their travel insurance policy
