Flights
We are one of the only companies willing to go that extra mile and pick you up from Dempasar however airport transfers are only free for people flying into Dempasar, not into other Indonesian airports.
Budget airlines fly into Bali for as little as £300 return however the average price is between £350 - £700, the best prices are often with Airasia.com who will also carry your board for £12 each way.

Currency
Welcome to indonesia... you are now all millionaires.
Wrapping your head around the indonesian currency can seem a bit daunting at first however its relatively simple to gain an understanding and we are here to help. The currency like any other often fluctuates however US $1 usually equates to roughly 10,000 Indonesian Rupiah. You can get some Rupiah from most banks and currency exchanges in Europe, however sometimes you will have to give notice.
It is very easy to exchange money whilst here in Bali and this can be done pretty much anywhere from the airport to your hotel reception. Most exchange centers work very competitively and charge no commission. There are also many ATM machines accepting most credit and debit cards, however, these do usually charge roughly US $10 per usage.
Visas
British passport holders along with most European countries do not need a visa before arriving in Indonesia and can obtain a visa upon arrival for US $25 for a stay of up to 30 days. If you choose to stay for longer you can apply for a 60 day social visa or pay a fine of US $20 per day for up to 9 days. It is essential your passport is valid for 6 months from your arrival. For more information please visit: World Travel Guide.
Insurance
It is a requirement that all guests have their own holiday insurance.
The Surf
Everyday in Bali there is a wave suited to the ability of any guest. It is never completely flat here meaning you will be able to surf everyday of your trip. You can choose if you want rights or lefts, fast hollow waves or slow mellow walls, challenging shallow reefs or sand bottom beach breaks.
You can read up on surfing in France and the rest of the world at surfing-waves.com
Equipment
How many boards you bring is really up to you. Some guests may choose to bring their whole quiver with them however we can arrange board hire and rental at low prices if needs be. Because there is a wide variety of waves to surf in Bali no one board can be said to be the best. We advise you to bring an all rounder board and one you feel comfortable with. The water temperature of Bali sits around a refreshing 24 degrees and most people choose to surf in board-shorts. However some days the water can be a little chilly and a wetsuit top is often a good idea to keep warm .
Other Activities
We believe we have created the perfect itinerary for our customers for our 30 day tour. There really is something for everyone with activities for the nature lovers, adrenaline junkies, party animals, cultural travelers and let's not forget our avid surfers. We have included several free days in your itinerary to let you guys explore Bali for yourselves and if you do have the energy and would like to do some more activities (if there are any more) then we will be happy to organise them for you using our local agents.
Alcohol and Partying
The Backpacker hotbed of Kuta is famous for its nightlife and great surf. Most evenings in Kuta are spent having a few cold Bintangs (local beer) analysing the surf footage from the day and deciding where to surf the next morning. Once a decision has been reached it is not uncommon for a few quiet beers to turn into a lively night out in the many top quality bars and clubs, sometimes even ending with a night time bungee jump!
However the focus of the trip is to surf world class waves and therefore we believe we have the perfect balance between partying and activities. Naturally if you want to party more your welcome to go out every night, just don't expect us to keep up the pace!
Drinking costs the same in Bali as it does in the UK so budget accordingly.
Weather
One of the main attractions of Bali is the beautiful tropical climate that will pretty much guarantee sunshine everyday from May through to September. It is advised that you bring light casual clothes. Bikinis and board-shorts are perfectly acceptable swim wear for the beach. We advise you to bring plenty of sun-cream, a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the Indonesian sun.
